第一回 須坂の空き家めぐり
信州蔵の町須坂。
明治時代に生糸の町として栄えた町。
当時の繁栄を偲ばせる贅を尽くした蔵造りの家々が
今も多く残っています。
古き良き時代の趣を残した須坂ですが、他の地域同様、空き家が多くなってきています。
そして、ここ最近、須坂らしい空き家を利用したお店が増えています。
須坂の雰囲気が気に入った、須坂の路地の感じがいい、観光地ではなく落ち着いた街並みが好き、
などお店を構える人、移り住んできた人の「須坂」を選んだ決め手は様々です。
田舎に住みたい、新しいお店を始めたい、そう思ってもなかなか自分の思い描く物件に巡りあうのは難しい。
人と人とが縁で繋がるように、物件との出会いもまた縁です。
須坂を気に入ってくれた方、いっしょに須坂を元気な町したいという思いのある方、
そんな方々にとって、私たちが日ごろ生活している中で手に入れた空き家情報が
須坂で始まる生活の「きっかけ」になってくれたらいいなと思います。
第一回、須坂の空き家めぐりのご案内です。
まずはとにもかくにも、今ある須坂の空き家物件を
ご紹介しながら、須坂の町を知っていただけたら、
感じていただけたらと思います。
今回、ご紹介できる物件は5~6軒ほど。
賃貸・売り物件どちらもございます。
また、とても個人では手に負えないような大きな物件から、
すぐにお店も開けそうな物件まで様々です。
この空き家めぐりでは、大家さんの賃貸・売買の意思があることを
確認してある物件のみご紹介しますが、参加者の方々と
物件を見て歩いている際には大家さんのご紹介や、賃貸・売買条件などの
細かいお話は一切致しません。
実際に気に入った物件があった方は空き家めぐりの会終了後、
別途ご相談ください。

Snow Monkey Park!! 2013.04～Summer Ver.
Do you think Snow Monkey is only for Winter?
The answer is " NO!".
As it's getting warmer, it's true that less and less monkeys are getting into the Onsen, but many monkeys are always around the Onsen, and sometimes they play into the Onsen, sometimes they dive into the Onsen for feed.
You can observe the lifestyle of the monkeys, and watching the monkeys play, their fight, their grooming is a lot of fun!!
And when you go to Snow Monkey, I recommend to go there from Shibu Onsen Area. From Yudanaka Sta. you can take a bus, Kambayashi Line, or Shirane-Kazan Line. Get off at the Shibu Wago-Bashi Bus stop. Around this area is called Shibu Onsen Area.
Here you can enjoy and experience nostalgic Japanese spa town!
Many ryokan here, the Japanese style hotels, have a history more than 400 years.
One of them is Kanagu-ya.
And it's said that it was one of the inspirations and models for the animated film "千と千尋の神隠し”, Spirited Away!
How about dropping by Shibu Onsen Area before/after you go to Snow Monkey!!

The time schedule to go to Snow Monkey Park from Shibu Onsen Area.(2013.04~)
If you are going Snow Monkey Park during stay in our hostel, Guset House KURA, we highly recommend you buy two days free ticket, called Shinshu KITA KAIROU Pass, at the Midori no Madoguchi(Ticket Reservation OfficeNagano) in JR Nagano Station before coming to Suzaka.
Say "Shinshu KITA KAIROU Pass o kudasai". It means I need this two day free ticket.
To go to Snow Monkey, you have to take Nagano Dentetsu Line. It is a local train, so you can NOT use Japan Rail Pass. Moreover this Nagano Dentetsu Line is rather expensive Line.
This free ticket is 2,500 JPY.
From nagano to Suzaka and Snow Monkey, it cost alomst 2,500 yen.
With this ticket, you can enjoy of course Zenkoji temple and Snow Monkey Park, as well as Obuse and Ueda.
If you want to go skiing, it's also useful to go to Myoko Kogen, and Nozawa Onsesn area.
If you don't have Japan Rail Pass, you can use this pass to go to Matsumoto castle!

以前ご紹介した地獄谷温泉。
英語では「スノーモンキー」として馴染みがあるくらいですから、
冬！というイメージですが。
おサルに会えるのは冬だけ、ではなく、
オールシーズン、いつでも間近でおサルさんをお楽しみいただけます。
また４月より冬季封鎖されていた近道も開通しましたよ。
お車でお越しの方は一番近い駐車場から歩いて１５分。
冬の山道の３０分を考えると、だいぶ簡単にたどり着けます。
また電車でお越しの方も、冬の間の神林温泉からではなく、
ぜひ渋温泉のほうから上がっていってみてください！
渋温泉は歩いていても楽しい昔っからの温泉街。
また中には「金具屋」というお宿があって、
ここは「千と千尋の神隠し」のモデルにもなったと言われているところなんです。
長野に来たら、ぜひスノーモンキーと渋温泉エリアもお楽しみくださいませ！

スリランカカレー担当のサミーラの帰国に伴い、

Sakura in Suzaka, Nagano No.1
Sakura in Suzaka, Nagano will be in full bloom next week!(around 12th Apr.2013)
In Suzaka, there are many beautiful spots where you can enjoy Sakura!!
We will introduce some of them.
Garyuu Park’s Night Sakura
Garyuu Park in Suzaka City, Nagano, was built in 1932 under the
supervision of Dr. Honda Seiroku’s Suzaka City’s Park Design Plan.
In the center of the park “someiyoshino” and various other types of
cherry trees surround the lake, and when spring comes they all
blossom together.
When night falls, the blossoms are lit up, and they can be enjoyed
as well with the lighting that makes seem to become even more
mystical and artistic.
