須坂東高校の学生が一生懸命作ってくれた日本語勉強便利ツールより、
今日はこちらの日本語をご紹介。若者がよく使うワードです。

This time they introduce "Suge(すげー)" with nice painting!
Amazing!!
The meaning of "Suge" is "Amazing". We usually say "Suge" when we think something is beautiful, pretty, big, respectable.
"Suge" is the slang form of "Sugoi(すごい)". "Sugoi(すごい)" also means "Amazing"
introduced by Youto, Kaito, Hikaru, Kosuke
When you feel something good, try to use this phrase "Suge" and change your expression like this painting!!

地元の高校生、おやきを英語で紹介！
今年に入ってからでしょうか。
地元の高校生が時々蔵に来てお手伝いをしてくれています。
英語が好きなジュキアくん。
彼はこれからの進路を考えていく中で、英語を生かしていきたいと考えていたという。
でも、英語は好きなんだけど、英語を使うチャンスがない、と
ここ蔵に通ってくれるようになりました。
そう自分で気づいても、実際行動に移せる高校生って
すごいな、って感心します。
彼は時々そうじを手伝ってくれたり、
蔵を訪れてくれたゲストにお茶を差し出しながら
英語でゲストとコミュニケーションをとってくれています。
学校では英語が好きだったはずの彼。
でも、最初来た時には、とっさに英語が出てこなかった。
学校の机の上では、文法通りに並べられる英単語も
実際に目の前に話す相手がいて、
話すテンポだったり、「間」だったり、そんなのが一気に
やってくると、頭が真っ白になる。
そんな感じでした。
でも、それでも根気強く通い続けてくれた彼は
今では少し実際のコミュニケーケョンで使う英語に
慣れてくれたような気がします。
試験で使う机上の英語ではなく。
そんなジュキアくんが、蔵のゲストのためにと、
おやきの案内を考えてくれました！！
Sometimes local high school student, Jukia, come to Guest House KURA to help us. He likes studying English, but he doesn't have a chance to talk in English at all. So he decided to come here and sometimes he got a chance to communicate with our guests to talk in English. Here in Suzaka, it's true that it is very rare to meet people from other countries, and talk in other languages.
I am very impressed that he decided to help here, and he is making chance to talk in English by himself. Hope he have a great experience here!
And he introduce the local food "OYAKI" in English!
[OYAKI]
OYAKI- Nagano Local Specialty- is a Japanese dumpling made from a fermented buckwheat dough wrapped around a stuffing of Japanese vegetables, or anko (Japanses red sweet beans), and then roasted on a pan.
Then either steamed or bailed and eaten HOT.
Oyaki is very popular especially in northern area in Nagano.
Why don't you come and try it?
