Snow Monkey Park in Summer!!





Many people might think that you can meet Snow Monkeys only in winter,
but it's not true.
Of course there is no snow now, and the onsen is too hot for monkeys, so they don't soak in the onse,
but you can enjoy watching snow monkeys everyday at the park!

And also you can enjoy not only Snow monkey park, but also the area around there.






How to go to Snow Monkey Park;






And when you go to Snow Monkey Park,
we recommend to drop by Tamamura sake brewery（玉村本店） and The Farmhouse.
You can enjoy tasting of some Japanese Sake at Tamamura brewery.
And The Farm house is the restaurant which is run by Tamamura brewery.
You can enjoy good food and good draft craft beer here!

And also I recommend to walk around Shibu Onsen Area after enjoying Snow Monkey Park. You can walk from Snow Monkey Park to Shibu Onsen Area. Or you can take a bus from Kambayashi Onsen Guchi / Snow Monkey Bus stop to Shibu Wago-Bashi.
Here you can enjoy and experience nostalgic Japanese spa town!
Many ryokan here, the Japanese style hotels, have a history more than 400 years.

One of them is Kanagu-ya.
And it's said that it was one of the inspirations and models for the animated film "千と千尋の神隠し”, Spirited Away!
How about dropping by Shibu Onsen Area before/after you go to Snow Monkey!!
